I am the biggest sucker for 80s music. Being the youngest child with much older siblings, I grew up with The Cure and Depeche Mode and Talking Heads, and... I could go on.
The 80s had the perfect mix of good beat and bouncy. I have a hard time with really heavy beats that many people love to sweat to, so when I am working out I need the lighter quality to keep me from ending up sprawled out dead on the gym floor. My rule of thumb is, if a song makes you unconsciously drive faster, it's a good one for the workout.
And so I have assembled a killer 80's workout playlist (though there are a few 70's and 90's in there...) And there are so many that aren't on this list- I'm always adding to it and will post new songs and playlists as I make them. Enjoy!
